The Nike Cortez is a staple classic!

How do they fit?

My Nike Cortez fit pretty small, especially around the toebox, so I've sized up by a half to make sure they're not too uncomfortable or too tight.

Are they comfortable?

They're pretty comfortable and I think that's because of the EVA foam midsole. However, even though they're a running shoe, you won't catch me doing my best Forrest Gump impression in them.

How do you style them?

I think one of the safest ways to style a Nike Cortez is with a pair of baggy light wash jeans. I usually style this with a baggy plain t-shirt and a coach jacket for a pretty '90s look.

How do you clean them?

As usual, I clean my Nike Cortez with my Jason Markk Cleaning Kit. My pair is made from leather so luckily they're really easy to clean!

What's your favourite colourway?

You can't go wrong with the classic Nike Cortez "Basic White Varsity Royal" colourway. Whenever I picture the Nike Cortez, that's the shoe that comes to mind. I think that colourway is always going to be a staple classic.

How do they fit?

The Nike Cortez fits quite narrow, so I'd recommend going a 0.5 size up!

Are they comfortable?

They are not too bad in terms of comfort, however, I wouldn't wear them on days when I know I will be standing on my feet for long periods. For more active days, I'd prefer something with a softer sole.

How do you style them?

My go-to outfit is a tennis skirt with an oversized sweatshirt or t-shirt. I love the vintage vibe that these shoes can add to a basic look.

How do you clean them?

I just wipe them with a cleaning wipe as they're made from leather, but in general, I try to keep them for sunny and dry days.

How do they fit?

I was absolutely wrong going true to size. I had to return them and exchange them for half a size bigger as the toe box was quite narrow.

Are they comfortable?

For a track running shoe, I think they provide the right level of comfort and cushioning. They're nothing out of this world, but I'm fine with wearing them all day.

How do you style them?

I am the kind of person who'd wear almost everything with loose fit trousers, ones that sit over the tongue of the shoe. I can't wear skinny jeans, they're just not me.

How do you clean them?

I clean my suede pairs with a clean sponge dipped into warm soapy water, and I leave them out to dry naturally.

All in all, you should go half a size up in Nike Cortez. The shape towards the toe box is pretty narrow so they might feel cramped if you don't get the right size. You might not see a lot of people wearing them these days but they're still present!
